The songs were completed before AJM's joint venture with Murder Inc/Def Jam in 2002, but with further production being added before this release.

The album was released as a digital download only, throughout digital music retailers such as Amazon and iTunes. So Far the Album has downloaded more than 2.1 million, this is a good look for Ashanti.
