Rap Chart Movement: T.I.'s Reign Continues, Ace Hood Grabs Second Place

T.I.'s Paper Trail remains at the top of the Billboard's 'Top Rap Albums Chart' by pushing 50,500 units this week. After 9 weeks on the charts, Paper Trail has sold a total of 1,229,000 copies.

Miami rapper Ace Hood enters the chart at No. 2 with his debut album Gutta.

The set, which features appearances from Trick Daddy, Plies and Rick Ross, scanned 24,700 copies in its opening week.

Lil Wayne holds fort No. 3. Tha Carter III moved 22,800 CDs this week. So far, the album has sold a total of 2,694,600 copies.

Debuting at No. 4 is Houston rapper South Park Mexican with his latest effort Last Chair Violinist. The album cashed out 15,300 CDs in its first spin on the charts.

Seated at No. 5 is Young Jeezy. The Recession moved 14,400 units this week, pushing its total to 629,200.

The Game stays put at No. 6. L.A.X. bagged up 29,600 units in its 14th week on the chart. So far, the album has sold a total of 580,900 copies.

Posted at No. 7 is Q-Tip. The Renaissance shelved off 8,900 discs this week. So far, the set has sold 58,000 copies.

Rap/Reggaton duo Wisin Y Yandel slip two spots to No. 8. La Ment cashed out 7,800 copies this week, bringing the album's total sales to 18,900.

Lil Keke debuts at No. 9 with his latest album Loved By Few, Hated By Many. The set scanned 5,800 units in its opening week.

M.I.A. wraps things up at No. 10. Kala bags up 3,800 copies this week. So far, the album has sold 389,200 units.
